Sales Consultant

•Negotiation skills to offer deals that satisfy customers while ensuring profit for the dealership
•Organization and time management to handle many different customers, including past customers, at once
•Teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate sales with the financing department and/or other salespeople
•Self-Motivation to establish personal monthly goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals with management
•A welcoming and friendly demeanor

Nissan Service Technician

Wally's Nissan of Latham is seeking to hire an experienced Nissan Service Technician in our state of the art facility.

If you are an experienced Nissan flat-rate technician, we would love the opportunity to speak with you! We are looking for a B level or higher and we prefer EV Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

  • Nissan Tech Certified in EV and Hybrid Preferred
  • ASE Certification Preferred
  • Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • Valid driver's license

Manage DMV vehicle titling and registration process
Prepare and process DMV title documents in a time sensitive manner to achieve or exceed title reporting standards
Submit legal transfer of documents to DMV on a timely basis
Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, and procedures, and regulations
Ability to deliver excellent customer service via phone and/or email
Maintain Accounting Dept.'s DMV Schedule on an ongoing basis, issue customer refund checks, and write-off adjustments when necessary
